Production Operator

IK Hofmann has a client offering an exciting Production Operator opportunity that includes assembly of door systems/window regulators, seats and tracks with meeting the quantities and dates according to the customer requirements, as well as internal production targets, with a constant high standard of the product quality.

Specific duties and responsibilities 

• Manual assembly operations in a work cell for door systems/window regulators, seats and tracks (according to the variant on the 

production order getting and placing of components/sub-assemblies/final-assemblies into workstations, assembly of components/sub- 

assemblies/final-assemblies, starting of automated processes). 

• Responsible for meeting all procedures, job instructions and organization instructions in the work area (work station instructions, 

operator process sheets, quality control plans, etc.). 

• Follows Brose New Boston Quality Policy. Compliance with Brose New Boston safety processes and procedures.

• Simple service and cleaning tasks on the assembly equipment as well as data recording.

• Developing of solutions within a team of members of the department.

• Maintaining of the environmental management system based on the federal and state laws, working in the realization of environmental 

topics.

• Needs to escalate any deviations in the assembly process and components/sub-assemblies/final-assemblies to supervisor. 

• Continuous improvement of the organization and processes in the production area. 

• Ensure cleanliness and keep the production area in order. 

• Other duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Education

•  *  Prior training as assembly operator
•  * Experience as an assembly operator in a production department of a series production company in the automotive industry preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and show problem-solving and multitasking skills

• Stand, move, bend at a fast pace for up to 8 to 10 hours a day. 

• Must be able to lift up to 50Ibs with or without reasonable accommodation.
